Now through December 16th we are collecting new, unwrapped toys for children of Maryland Army National Guard servicemembers.  Drop off  at Lifeline Tack and Apparel, Greystoke Farm, 22600 Robin Ct, Gaithersburg, MD 20882. SPRING OPEN HOUSE, SILENT AUCTION & EAGALA DEMO: Saturday, May 21, 2022

Plan to join us for an exciting Eagala Demo, Open House, and Silent Auction from 10:00 am till 2:00 pm at Greystoke Farm, which is located at 22600 Robin Ct, Gaithersburg, MD. The demonstration of Eagala-model equine-assisted therapy will run from 11:00 till 12:00. Food, tack sale, meet and greet with the horses. Bring the kids! Pony rides ($5) 10am-11am.

HOT MEALS FOR HEROES: January-April 2022

We are collecting restaurant gift cards to distribute to Maryland Army National Guard Soldiers and Airmen who are on active-duty orders to support covid efforts and assist at under-staffed hospitals in the State. FAMILY DAY EVENT FOR MARYLAND ARMY NATIONAL GUARD INFANTRY UNIT:

On September 19, 2021, we provided crafts and activities for children of NG troops who had been activated during the Covid-19 Pandemic to distribute food, assist at covid testing sites, and assist at mass covid vaccination sites.

APRECIATION ACTIVITY FOR MARYLAND ARMY NATIONAL GUARD TROOPS (INFANTRY AND MILITARY POLICE):

We collected hand-written "thank you" which cards were delivered to MD Army National Guard Troops who were activated in Washington, DC, before, during, and after the inaugural to help assist in a peaceful transfer of power.  Spring 2021.

LUNCH FOR ARMY NATIONAL GUARD TROOPS: On May 18th we served 50 lunches to a local Army National Guard Unit to express our appreciation for their service to the community in this time of crisis.

SPRING SILENT AUCTION: Our online Silent Auction took place May 7-15, 2020. We are grateful to the small businesses and supporters who donated wonderful items for this auction and of course to our loyal friends, family, and newcomers who placed bids and helped support our programs. Without you, we could not support the horses in need who are under our care. MLK SERVICE PROJECT January 2019--Collect dog food and supplies for MAGSR to support influx of dogs rescued from Georgia hoarding case. Collect cat food and supplies for Laurel Cats. COMPLETED.

COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT--CLEAN UP WILDCAT FOREST: On Saturday, October 28, 2018, we carried out a community service project, which involved picking up trash and debris from the local woods, known as Wildcat Forest. Together with our volunteers we were able to collect several bags of trash and recyclables and properly dispose of them. COMPLETED.

FALL 2018 OPEN HOUSE: Please join us at the farm on Saturday, October 13 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. We will have a variety of vendors, a tack sale, and a silent auction, as well as pony rides for the kids and educational displays. COMPLETED.

SPRING 2018 OPEN HOUSE: Join us at the farm on Saturday, May 12 from 10:00 am till 2:00 pm. Meet the horses, shop the sales and silent auction, bring the kids for a pony ride, and learn more about what we do! COMPLETED.

Holiday Children's Book Drive: We are collecting children's books this holiday season. We will give the collected books to Operation Second Chance, who will distribute books to children of active military and veterans, and to the Maryland Book Fund, which gives books to children from low income families. If you have new or gently used children's books that you would like to donate, please bring them to Lifeline Horse Rescue at 22600 Robin Ct, Gaithersburg, or one of our collection spots (TBD) or call 301 318 1686.
