Available For Adoption

Daydreams (Bella)

Bella is a 22 year old gray Appendix mare who is in need of a companion home. She is good with mares and geldings, is a pretty easy keeper, and has good ground manners. She had a long career as a show horse and needs a safe place to land.

Darling aged Standardbred gelding. Pacino is tattooed so likely raced, he was an Amish buggy horse, and now he's ready for a quieter, low-key home. He appreciates treats and wants to be with people. He has good energy and a great brain. He has a wound on the side of his face, most likely from ill-fitting equipment, and is being treated with antibiotics (this has since healed).

UPDATE: Polo is out of quarantine and available for adoption!

Polo is a new rescue out of New Holland Auction. He is approximately 12 years old, 15 h, looks to be a TB cross, and is super cute and friendly. He is supposedly experienced in playing polo and jumping. We've had him under saddle a few times, as February weather permits. He is forward-going and a very cute mover.

Toosmartsweetheart "Belle" is a 2002 chestnut OTTB mare. Standing at 16 hands, Belle has been trained English and Western. She is a sweet, beautiful girl. She is quiet and forgiving and has a lot of experience on the trail.  She has navicular changes and is suitable for light riding. She is easy to get along with and is a good companion to other horses.

Look Whos A Star

Look Whos A Star is a 2007 chestnut Thoroughbred by Pollard's Vision who was rescued from a kill pen February 20, 2019. She was in very poor condition when she came to Lifeline and had suffered a trauma to the head at the kill pen, which caused a concussion. "Star" was never raced; she was used strictly as a broodmare. She has made a lot of progress toward trusting people and improving her health and condition. Star is a beautiful, sweet mare who would love to be a companion and have someone to love on her. She is currently in foster in Pennsylvania and is available for adoption.

Soloman is a 17-year-old draft-cross gelding from Pennsylvania. He was Amish-owned and worked on a farm for most of his life pulling a plow and a buggy. He is green for riding but is very sweet and eager to please. He has trail experience and is currently being trained for ring work. This big boy has a puppy-dog personality and is bomb proof to boot. If you are interested in providing a soft landing and a forever home, please contact us for more information.
